The Sorter Dev Kit is a developer kit intended for technically experienced users. It is not a finished consumer product and has not been certified for general consumer use. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have the technical knowledge to assemble and operate it.
The kit includes all parts necessary to assemble and run Sorter, as described on the product page at the time of purchase.
Payment is charged at the time of order. The Sorter Dev Kit is a pre-order. Units will begin shipping in Q4 2026 on a first come, first served basis.
The specific components included in the kit may change before shipment as development continues. The capability of the machine at time of shipment will be equal to or greater than what is described at the time of purchase.
You may cancel your order at any time before your unit ships for a full refund. Once your unit has shipped, cancellation is not possible. Please refer to our refund policy for post-delivery returns.
If your kit arrives with damaged or missing parts, contact us within 14 days of delivery at [email protected] with photos and a description. We will ship replacement parts at no cost to you. We reserve the right to send replacement parts rather than a complete replacement unit where appropriate.
If a part is found to be defective after use, please consult the online documentation before contacting us. You must assist in diagnosing issues before a replacement can be processed. Normal wear and tear on mechanical and consumable parts is expected and not covered.
Estimated ship dates are targets, not guarantees. Basically Technologies is not liable for delays caused by supply chain issues, manufacturing, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate delays promptly. If the ship date slips more than 90 days beyond the stated estimate, you may cancel your order for a full refund.
Basically Technologies' liability is limited to the purchase price paid. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of our products or services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Basically Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. You agree to attempt informal resolution of any dispute before pursuing legal action.
